What I Learned Sitting At a $500M Revenue Table

Last year I was 2 weeks away in Dubai participating in multiple masterminds and conferences.

I talked with over 100+ eComm owners and here is what I learned.

Scaling a brand isn’t just about increasing ad spend. It’s about strategic optimization of the funnel at every touchpoint.

First of all, let's talk about how you can be in a position to join high level people that are doing 8-9 figures in revenue.

It's all about inviting people to participate.

If you don't have authority or social proof then use leverage people, e.g. if you have someone in your circle who has authority.

Invite other people to dinners and use other high level people as a selling point.

The social proof will rub on you.

But this email is not about that.

Here are things I learned from 8 and 9 figure companies:

- Best eComm brands always prioritize performance first.

- After hitting $50M it's a wild west and then it becomes margin game.

- From the big picture perspective media buying is a low leverage activity, while creatives is the highest.

- Ecomm brands are becoming leaner due to lower margins. 10 people can run a $20M/year brand.

- AI is changing the creative production space. One person can be a creative department.

- A lot of young entrepreneurs want to get into eComm, but they don't realize how competitive it has become and that the margins are low.

- Average margins are 10-15%. A $10M revenue eComm business = $1.5M agency.

What are your thoughts about this?

Your truly,

Deividas
