Hey, Deividas here!
2024 was a crazy year for me.
Ever since I started working as a media buyer I was tracking my yearly income.
From 2019 to 2024 I managed to double it every single year.
It's the compounding effect, not everybody becomes a crypto millionaire overnight.
I always had a goal to become a millionaire by the time I'm 30.
It started off with me making just $3,000 per year.
Back in 2023 Christmas I did a planning session and created a goal to double my revenue once again.
And I managed to achieve.
However, I had no idea how I'm going to do it.
I was planning to sell digital products, but ended up building an agency.
You see, in the beginning of 2024 I was just...
- Making $10K/month freelancing.
- 100% against building an agency.
- Had no lead gen system, only referrals.
- Posted on Linkedin every day but made $0 out of it.
And here I am... Now I own an agency with 15 people and 20+ clients.
I know there are a lot of freelancers who want to become business owners too.
Here is how I did. No BS, just my experience.
Having a predictable lead gen system is key to sustaining high revenues, but the best clients come through referrals.
Building connections with other agency owners or specialists in the field paid back.
By knowing a 100 people you increase your chances to getting clients significantly.
Especially, if you have good case studies and good testimonials.
My agency churn rate is very low. Most clients that work with us stay for more than a year.
My secret sauce?
Just be involved in the relationship management, don't just outsource and vanish out of the picture.
Service business = relationship business.
Clients are sold on the idea of working with you, so be there for them.
I was always open about helping people v.s. making money.
If you have a potential client that can't pay you enough, be flexible and invest upfront.
My most profitable clients turned out to be the one's that paid me the least in the beginning.
Just make sure you have profit or ad spend share to yield the benefit in the future.
Play the long game.
In the beginning I was working with just anybody that needed help.
It's a double edged sword.
It can be a pain in the ass because your delivery will be custom and require a lot of your involvement.
However, this way you increase a chance of getting case studies, testimonials and referrals.
Once you get a solid and consistent revenue then become more niched and picky.
My biggest client came from a random referral.
I met a CEO of one of the biggest DTC agencies in the world.
We built a connection and it turned out amazing.
It's easier to build relationships live.
Be unconventional and focus on meeting people.
I'm planning to double my revenue in 2026 again.
Let's get it!
